Jeff Jones, founder, had his first bracket race at LACR in the 90's then eventually won a Friday Night Grudge Race and the hook was set. He then went on to race Super Comp and Super Gas with some success. Then took 9 years off to start a family and build a successful metal fabrication company, but couldn't stay away from racing. In 2004, once his oldest was 8 he put her in a Jr. Dragster with a racing team of two other drivers and never looked back. Since 2015 he has been racing a '72 Chevy Nova in Pro ET, Super Pro ET, and some big money races on the west coast. A year after that, both of his sons started racing Jr. Dragsters. Jones Family Racing now is comprised of 2 Jr Dragsters, a Jr. Comp Dragster, a '65 Nova and a '72 Nova with more to come.
